On the 16th of March 2017, Trust of Programs for early childhood, family and community education implemented a workshop about “ Methods to teach mathematics” in collaboration with Beit Soreek School for girls represented by the school principal Mrs. Nejmeh Tneneh and the mathematics teacher Mrs. Fida’ Turk. The number of participants were 45 including coordinators and tutors who work in Learn by play program in Ramla, Shu’fat refugee camp and the Villages Northwest of Jerusalem. The day included presenting educational tools to facilitate teaching mathematics.
On the 19th of February 2017, Trust of Programs for early childhood, family and community education implemented a workshop about “ Methods to teach the Arabic language ” in collaboration with Biddo School for girls represented by the Arabic teacher Mr. Malek Saadeh . The number of participants were 41 including coordinators and tutors who work in Learn by play program in Ramla, Shu’fat refugee camp and the Villages Northwest of Jerusalem. The day included presenting educational tools to facilitate teaching the Arabic subject.
On the 26th of March 2017, Trust of Programs for early childhood, family and community education honored the volunteers group by inviting them to lunch. This celebration came on the occasion of International Women’s Day and Mother’s and to appreciate the volunteers efforts and initiatives.
On the 18th of April 2017, Trust of Programs for early childhood, family and community education implemented a voluntary day at Palestine Medical Complex ( children’s department) in collaboration with the director of Children’s department and nursing section in order to bring joy to their hearts. The day included clowns , drawing on faces, balloons and activities for the mothers
During the period from January until April 2017, representatives from the police department conducted awareness raising meetings for the mothers ( Biddo, Beit Anan, Al Jeeb, Qattanna, Beit Soreek) about different topics like the safe use of the internet, drugs, safety on roads and others.
The Trust in cooperation with the Defense for Children International Palestine (DCIP) conducted a meeting to raise the mothers awareness about the “ the psychological effects of violence”
The Trust of Programs for early childhood, family and community education hosted the psychological health department from Jerusalem Health Directorate to raise the mothers awareness about “ Depression: types and mechanisms”
