The Trust of Programs welcomed a delegation from Caritas Germany, including Mr. Kilian Linder, Ms. Roswitha Brender, and Ms. Anica Schüller.

The delegation was welcomed at the Trust’s office in Biddo, where a meeting was held with the team working across the villages of northwest Jerusalem. The session was opened with a brief introduction about the Trust by Mr. Farid Abu Ghosh- General Director, followed by presentations and discussions led by the directors of the community centers, who shared an overview of the newly established community centers’ programs and activities across the area.

The delegation then conducted a field visit to the Qatannah Community Center, where they observed an activity with young leaders focused on emotional management, implemented by trainers from the Good Friend Association. The delegation then visited Beit Surik, where they learned more about the community center and observed an activity for young leaders aimed at preparing children and youth for future community engagement and participation.

Following the field visits, the delegation returned to the Trust for an extended meeting with mayors, members of the Steering Committee, and representatives of community committees from the participating villages. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Muwaffaq Al-Khatib- Director of the Jerusalem Governorate Office.

During the meeting, Mr. Al-Khatib provided an overview of the prevailing social, economic, and political conditions in the area. The mayors and committee members also discussed the challenges facing their communities and highlighted the importance of the programs implemented by the Trust in responding to local needs.
